Home to Mongol, Kazakh, Chinese and Russian communities, up until recently Mongolia was a closed nation yet the last two decades have seen greater freedom and growth of the local church.
Now the challenges of unemployment and alcoholism threaten the growing faith of new believers. Workers who come to serve these indigenous expressions of faith, strengthening and discipling believers is what Mongolia needs. World Horizons works in the capital, using a fair trade art and craft business to create local employment and opportunities to build relationships. The business is flourishing, yet more people are needed to continue this work and enable the team to make the most of this time.
If you have experience in business then there are also short-term opportunities to get involved with World Horizons’ work in Mongolia. For more details email firstname.lastname@example.org.
